2. Plant An Indoor Garden

If your kids like the idea of working with food then you might consider helping them to plant their very own indoor garden. You can easily start this project by filling trays or pots with soil and then adding a plant of their choice. This is an awesome experience for kids because they can watch a few seeds grow into a huge plant right before their very eyes. Plus, if you grow vegetables in the garden, then they can use those ingredients in their future recipes.

3. Build a Puzzle

The complexity of the puzzle will depend on the age of your children, but regardless of the challenge, this fun act can improve cognition and visual-spatial reasoning, which means that your kids can improve their short-term memory and problem-solving skills. 4. Make a Pretend Business

Older kids may get a kick out of starting a pretend business that will allow them to sell an item of their choice. Parents can encourage them to come up with a fun idea, like a cookie business or lemonade stand, then you can tell them about the importance of budgeting, marketing, and how to make a plan for success.

The idea of starting a pretend clothing company can be a fun idea because the kids can design their own shirts. It is an easy system that allows them to either create a logo from scratch or use a pre-made logo that they can modify with their favorite colors and text. Once they are done, they can try selling their new clothes to their friends.
